Mono Lights- Best for Wedding Ceremonies

Mono Lights
In order to have the best natural qualities, photographers use mono lights at the wedding ceremonies and for portrait making purposes. A mono light or a strobe light gives off lesser heat than the rest of the flood lights. Some mono lights are sold individually while the rest come with the photography kit. Some mono lights also prove to be good for home studios and the photographers use umbrellas that are generally resizable that is they can be used to soften the light. Mono lights give the best dramatic result if they are fixed on a subject in a darkened room.

The power, control and optimize speed of monolights make them one of the most advanced lighting systems in the world for professional photographers; it is idea for both digital and conventional photography. At one end of the mono light it has a wall outlet at other end it has a flash tube and a big block of capacitors in between. Because of very few cables running around, monolights are suitable for location work and their full collection can easily be packed into a single case and can be transported to a location easily. Using several mono lights at a location is not as much of a problem.

Mono lights give off less heat as compared to other floodlights and are ideal for shooting sensitive objects such as food. Mono lights are extremely convenient for location photography.  Super slim monolights are ideal for use in small studios where the space is limited.

Mono lights are quick to set up and you can attach any kind of modifier to them. These lights can run with a small power cord instead of high wattage cords, you can take these monolights into places where heavier cables are not an option. Monolights are equipment that might prove to be your best option. Some monolights can also be battery powered. Monolights have proportional halogen modeling lamps, adjustable flash power setting, and built in slaves. Latest monolights are designed with the modern high tech features. They are compact, lightweight, portable and deliver best quality performance and some also have a 4 or 5 f-stop output adjustment control. Some brands of the monolights include Balcar, SP studio, Excaliburs, Photogenic, Flashpoint, Norman, Alien Bees, Impact, Bowens International and Elinchrom. An alternative to the strobe light or the mono light is the power packs and heads. In order to bring changes quickly while dealing with the lighting angles the photographers use power packs and heads.

Mono lights are available in the market with prices from under $60 to $1070. The market is flooded with monolights at the moment. Monolights are always changing due to latest technology so the best way to keep in touch is the internet or the local camera store. Both are excellent sources of information.
